Tower Heist Review
On paper, this movie seemed to be promising. I mean c'mon! Eddie Murphy, Ben Stiller and Matthew Broderick, all reunited in one movie? Bring it on, right? Wrong! Let's be honest, Eddie Murphy has been on a down slide for a while now. Same can be said about Ben Stiller. They were funny once, but now no one cares about them. Not even Matthew Broderick could save the movie! So what is the movie about? Ben Stiller plays Josh Kovacs, a building manager of a luxury apartment complex. For Josh, his life couldn't be more perfect. He loves his job, he's good at it, and his boss likes him.
Unfortunately, Josh's boss has problems with the IRS and must shut down the tower. Josh learns that the employee's pension funds have vanished and he later learns that his boss took every penny. Josh is furious and decides to come up with a plan to get back the money that was stolen from them.
As usual, Eddie Murphy tries way too hard to be funny, and it shows. The only reason that I did finish the movie, was to see how it would end. There were interesting parts to the movie, but not enough to make up for the poor acting.
Overall, this movie didn't do it for me at all. Thus I give this movie a 5/10.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Roman Reloaded Review
Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Roman Reloaded Review
Nicki's back! When Nicki spoke in an interview, she revealed that she has an alter-ego, like Marshal Matters with his slim shady character. For Nicki, her alter-ego is Roman and he is a lot more present on her latest album. The first half of the album is barely listenable. The 2nd half however, is very good. The best tracks on the album include the current radio hit "Starships", "Champion", "Right by my side", "Marilyn Monroe" which sounds an aweful lot like the song "Stuttering" by FeFe Dobson, "Vavavoom" and "Masquerade". This album is filled with collaborations such as Lil Wayne, Nas, Drake, Beenie Man and Chris Brown.
I suggest getting the Deluxe Edition because it's got 22 tracks.
For the most part this album is pretty good! I give it a 7/10.

The Hunger Games Review
The Hunger Games Review
May the odds be ever in your favor! The movie Hunger Games is trying to be the next Harry Potter, and frankly, it's doing a pretty good job! It is the movie to see at the moment. Everyone is talking about it, and with reason. The movie features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, a young teenage girl living in what appears to be a poor town. We learn that every year, they have what they call Hunger Games, which is a fight to the death game played by the children. The game is played by 24 children from every zone. Katniss is from district 12, as his her friend Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). The movie also stars Donald Sutherland as President Coriolanius and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy. At first, when we meet Haymitch, he stands out as a douchbag, only thinking of himself. But after he sobers up, he turns out to be a pretty good mentor for Peeta and Katniss.
The movie was pretty good. The difference between the working class is huge! When we first see Katniss in her home town, she's very poor. But when she prepares for the hunger games, we see the high class and their clothes. Day and night! One thing that I didn't like though, is that I thought that it took a little too much time for the games to start. And when it did start, it didn't last long enough.
The acting was very good as well. I give this movie a good 8/10.

Madonna MDNA Review
Madonna MDNA Review
Madonna's back with another album! Her last album was Hard Candy and it was released way back in 2008. Madonna follows the same trend she set with her album Hard Candy. Most of the tracks are very energetic and are very danceable. Madonna's very intelligent. She knows what's in right now, and she exploits it fully. She has collaborated with Nicki Minaj, Martin Solveig and M.I.A. just to name a few. If you haven't already heard her latest single "Give me all your luvin", then you probably haven't turned on the radio, because this track is quickly reaching the top of the charts. On this album, there's a little bit of everything. There's electronica-dance, pop, R&B. There's even a song (I'm a sinner) that resembles strangely her song Beautiful Stranger from the Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged me soundtrack.
Best tracks on the album include "Give me all your luvin", "Girl gone wild", "Superstar", "I'm a sinner".
This album is a very welcomed change from her disappointing album Hard Candy.
I give this album a 8/10.

21 Jump Street Movie Review
21 Jump Street Movie Review
I have to admit that before seeing this movie, I never saw the TV series starring Johnny Depp by same name. So I have no way of comparing the two. Though I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The movie is filled of mostly humor with a dash of action scenes. To put it bluntly, it is the perfect movie to start your weekend with! Jonah Hill plays Schmidt, a very introvert individual who's also very intelligent. When the movie begins, we see him in high school and we learn that he was a total geek with no friends and no girlfriend. But 7 years later, he joins the police force, only to find the boy who bullied him in high school in the same force. After thinking about it, his former bully asks him if he can be friends with him, since he's failing every test. His former bully (Channing Tatum) is the total opposite of Schmidt. He's big, he's cool, he's fit and he has his way around the ladies. Together they will form the most unlikely team!
I recommend this movie and give it 7.5/10!

SSX For PS3 Review
SSX For PS3 Review
If there was ever a game for which I was truly excited, it's this one!
This review is about SSX which was released on February 27th 2012 in North America. Snowboarding games have pretty much been dead for a while now. There hasn't really been any games that really stood out like SSX 3 did back in '03. SSX 2012 is here to change all of that.
SSX 2012 brings back the characters we grew to love in SSX 3 like Zoe, Elise, Mac, Kaori, and new additions like Alex. The story of this game is that badboy Griff is trying to be the first to descend all of the 9 deadly decents of the world. Team SSX doesn't want that to happen so your mission is to do it before Griff does.
Like SSX 3, this game is packed with an impressive soundtrack featuring new artists, like Foster The People. And if ever you get tired of the in-game music, there's even a possibility of creating your own soundtrack with songs on your PS3. And what's even more awesome, is that the game will remix your songs like it did with in-game songs in SSX 3.
What's missing though is split-screen. There's no possibility of playing with your buddy on the same television. I'm guessing that the folks at EA Sports put all of their effort on multiplayer rather than split-screen.
This game is insanely fast-paced and will keep you coming back with the online global events happening often.
I award this game a 8.5/10.

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition For PS3 Review
Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition For PS3 Review
This franchise has been around for quite some time now. The first resident evil game dates back from 1996! This review is about Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition. To be honest, yes it is worth it to get the Gold Edition. You'll end up paying maybe 5-10$ more, but in the end it's worth it. Besides, you can pretty much buy this game for about 25-30$ new. What's so awesome about this game is that you can play the whole game in co-op mode with your friend online. The downside is that you can only play 2 people at a time when playing in co-op mode. There is however a versus mode where you can play with more people at once.
Will this game please long-time fans? I'm not so sure. You pretty much have to play this game with the mindset that this is a horror game, not a traditional Resident Evil game. In older Resident Evil games, you were up against zombies. In this game, you're up against people who don't really look like zombies. This games copies elements from Uncharted, like finding treasures and whatnot, and there's nothing nice to say about the shooting and covering issues.
Another negative issue is that the main story mode is roughly short. That's why I highly suggest getting the Gold Edition, because there's a lot more to do when you're done with the main story mode.
For its stunning graphics and the nice addition of online co-op mode, I give this game a 8/10!
