gps for people who are travelling to U.S or Canada

ever been in the U.S or Canada and you couldn't use your cellphone for gps because of roaming charges?  Well fear no more because copilot gps app is here! And best of all it's free (sort of)!

First of all this is definitely not a paid advertisement for Copilot gps!  I was lucky enough to find it myself on the internet.

we are currently travelling in the states and our stand alone gps was sort of faulthy.  So we had to find something quick! That's where copilot gps comes in. what's so great about it is that if you download the north America map you get the best deal since you get the U.S AND Canada!  Only downside is the map weighs in at approximately 1,85GB so make sure that you have enough space left on you smart phone!

Speaking of smart phones, unfortunately I don't think this app works on tablets since it uses the built-in gps in your phone.

The way that it works is you need to put in the adress from where you start and the adress of your destination.  it's as simple as that! And if you don't know the adress you can always rely on the millions of point of interest included in the maps. For example, we found a little thai restaurant and we used that as our starting point.

I remember seeing something about 14 days so I hope it will still work after that period. Keep posted for an update,  but so far it's great!
