5th element version 2.0?
Lucy is a story about a woman named Lucy (played by Scarlett Johansson). Lucy isn't too bright, and we see this straight away from the beginning of the movie. Her boyfriend (a man she's only been dating for a week) is somekind of delivery guy for important clients. Only problem is that this time, he needs Lucy's help to deliver a very important briefcase to a very important client.
What's in the briefcase you ask? why, drugs of course! But not any kind of drugs... Very powerful drugs that no one knows of yet. What are the side effects from swallowing this drug? Well let's just say that you'll gain super powers.
The movie was directed by Luc Besson (same director from 5th element), so you know there's going to be fast-paced action scenes, car chases and Europe shots.
One thing surprised me though. Scarlett didn't do much physical scenes in this movie. I don't know if she was pregnant during shooting the movie or not.
Overall the movie was good and it made me think about life, therefore i give it a 7/10.
