Korn The Path Of Totality Review

Korn The Path Of Totality Review
Korn The Path Of Totality Review

The first thought that went through my mind as I listened to the first track was "Is this a remix album?". The first track right away sets the tone for the rest of the album. If it wasn't for Jonathan Davis familiar voice, we'd think this was totally another band! Granted I've not really cared for Korn since their Follow The Leader album, this album is very different from what we're used to hearing from these guys. They mix a lot of electronic beats, especially in the first song and it really makes you wonder if you can still classify them as a nu metal band.

This album might be better appreciated by new fans, rather than die hard fans. Also, you might enjoy it better if you forget altogether that this is Korn.  There are songs which do have a familiar sound to them, like "Narcissistic Cannibal", but most songs have a electronic sound to them, with fast beats.

This album will be in stores on December 6th 2011. For this review, I give this album a 6/10.
