Friends With Benefits Review

Friends With Benefits Review
Friends With Benefits Review

Don't mistake the movies Friends With Benefits with No Strings Attached. One was a pretty good chick flick, and the other fell short for my expectations. Unfortunately this review is about the latter. Rising actor Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis play in this romantic comedy about 2 people who meet through a recruiting company. Mila Kunis actually plays Jamie, a head hunter who asks Dylan (Timberlake) to come down to New York for a job interview for a big-time position at the magazine GQ. After the job interview, Dylan still isn't sure if he wants the position. Jamie decides to show him around the city and after a few sight seeing, Dylan finally accepts to stay and take the position. Dylan had a pretty good time with Jamie, and so he asks her out to lunch. After a few more lunches, the both of them become good friends. One evening, both of them talk about how they are tired of relationships but that they still need sex once in a while. Thus, they decide to make a pact to never ruin their friendship and to never fall in love with another.

This movie, like most Hollywood comedies has a predictable ending. But I mean come on, if you wanted to see this one, you probably already knew how it would end, didn't you?

It only had a few funny scenes, and for that reason, I give it a 5/10
