This movie is about Quinn (Christopher Bale) who, as a young boy, discovers a new race of animals that breathe fire. That's right, dragons. A few years later, him and others live inside the ruins of a former town and hide underground every time a dragon passes nearby. It's only a matter of time until Quinn realizes that they must end this once and for all, instead of living in constant fear.
At a point where they've just been hit hard, Denton Van Zan (Matthew McConaughey) knocks on Quinn's door with tanks and his military crew. McConaughey plays a badass military leader who's just lost some of his men.
Van Zan is the opposite of Quinn, he's not afraid to die, trying to slay a dragon. In fact, he's already slayed one, keeping a reminder of this triumph on his neck, in the form of a dragon's tooth. Other actors include Gerarld Butler and Izabella Scorupco. This movie is about 1h40.
I enjoyed this movie, but it had long moments where there was no action.
