Curve is a rock, electronic, industrial band that formed in the 90's. They kind of sound a tad like a mash between Nine Inch Nails and Garbage. Although their lyrics are nowhere near as dark as of Nine Inch Nails. Their vocalist really sounds like Shirley Manson of Garbage. If you have not heard of them it might be because they haven't really gotten a lot of airplay over here in North America. They were mostly popular in the UK. A lot of their songs speak about addiction, love and lust. Curve's music has often been labeled as part heavy beats, aggressive guitar riffs and Toni Halliday's voice. Sometimes the songs sound bad (especially on "Come Clean"), as if they were cheap on production. If you think that Garbage's sound on their last albums sounded kinda watered down, then this album might be for you!
Notable songs include "Chinese Burn", "Dirty High", "Killer Baby" and "Cotton Candy".
For their unusual sound, I award this album a 6.5/10
