Wow... I had such hopes for this movie with stars Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz. The trailer for this movie sure is false publicity. It pretends that this movie is a horror movie. It's more of a thriller than a scary movie. In any case, it's the story of Will Atenton (Craig) who's an editor that finally retires to move from the big Apple to a small village in New England . He does so because he wants to spend more time with his family. They live inside this cottage house in the countryside. Naomi Watts plays their neighbor who's a close friend of the family. Eventually they discover that there was a murder inside their house. A man killed his entire family (wife and their 2 kids). The whole town seems to believe that Will did it, which makes to sense to him.
The idea behind this movie was good. However, I find that it was badly executed. It could have been better. Despite the fact that the actors are good in this movie, it doesn't help with the story.
For the intrigue in the movie, I award this movie a 6.5/10
