Angel-a Review

Angel-a Review
Angel-a Review

If you've never heard of director/writor Luc Besson, then you missed quite a few good movies... Fifth Element, Taxi, Taken, just to name a few. Angel-a is a movie about André (Jamel Debbouze), a guy who's borrowed a lot of money from just about everyone in Paris. After being completely desperate, he decides to end his life by jumping off a bridge. That's where he meets Angela (Rie Rasmussen). Just as he's ready to jump, he sees her on the ledge as well. André is stunned by her beauty and wonders why the hell a pretty woman like her would want to end her life. She decides to jump and so André jumps after her and saves her life.

Angela being grateful, decides to help André with his debt problem.

This movie was entirely shot in black and white, but the movie is so special that it doesn't matter. Seeing Rie next to Jamel is pretty funny. She's so tall and he's so small! Unfortunately this movie is in french, so you'll have to watch it with subtitles.

This movie is pretty special and I give it a 8/10.
