Cowboys And Aliens Review
Cowboys And Aliens Review

Ever played the game Cowboys and Indians where you were young? Well, this is basically the same thing, but replace the word Indians with aliens. This feature was directed by Jon Favreau, the same man responsible for the very successful Iron Man. The movie starts off with Jake (Daniel Craig), waking up, not knowing who he is or where he is. Also, he notices a weird-looking metal bracelet around his arm and a deep cut on his sides. He rapidly reaches the nearest town to clean up. Soon enough, the town gets invaded by unknown force of what appears to be extra-terrestrials. Something weird happens to Jake, as his bracelet lights up. Before he knows it, he takes down a spaceship with only but his bracelet. The town realizes that Jake is an important asset to them, as he's the only one who can defeat the unknown creatures.

The concept behind this movie is original. Usually with alien invasion movies, it takes place in our time. This time around, it takes place during the west era. The movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. And for that reason, I give it a 6/10.
