Abduction Review

Abduction Review

I'm not sure that the director of this movie knew what the word abduction really meant. According the the Collins dictionary, abduction means "the act of taking someone away by force or cunning; kidnapping". In no case is that relevant for this movie. At any rate, this movie features Taylor Lautner as Nathan, a teenage boy who feels like he doesn't belong with his family. When he does a school research, he stumbles upon a website about missing children. One thing that's peculiar is that one of the kids sort of looks like him. This is Talor's first lead role since his Twilight movies and yes girls, he takes off his t-shirt in this movie as well.

To think about it, maybe the name of the movie was referring to his abs?  Ab-duction? Get it?

The movie took at least a good 30 mins to start getting interesting, but once you've figured it out, it gets old pretty fast.

You might ask yourself why I would put myself through the pain of watching this movie. Well I was reading all sorts of bad critics and wanted to see it for myself. And yes folks, it's as bad as they say.

I give this movie a 5.5/10 for the action scenes and NOT for Taylor's abs.
