For those of you who have been following this trilogy from the start, you'll probably want to see this third movie. This film is supposed to show you how it all began. Unfortunately, while wildly entertaining, the movie doesn't deliver on its promise. It does explain little things, but when the movie ends, you're left wondering what happens next. They should've named this movie Paranormal Activity 2.5. I've just checked, and saw that there is a Paranormal Activity 4 in the works. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like a Saw movie with 7 movies...
For the scary parts, this movie didn't really bring anything new to the franchise. It feels like they are running out of ideas and stretching the elastic as much as they can.
I will probably go see the 4th one, but only to finally see what happens after this one.
I give this movie a 6.5/10 for the scary parts.
