Alcatraz TV Series Episode One Review

Alcatraz TV Series Episode One Review
Alcatraz TV Series Episode One Review

For you Lost fans out there, rejoice because this show might be for you!
The story is about how Alcatraz was officially closed on March 21st 1963 and that all its prisoners were transferred off the island. Only that's not what really happened.

302 people vanished from Alcatraz in 1963, from prisoners to guards. In the pilot episode, we see that one of prisoners who disappeared in 1963 reappears in our present, unchanged and still as young as he was in 1963.

This show reminds me of Prison Break, mixed with bits of Lost and Person of Interest.

It's no wonder that this show feels familiar with J.J. Abrams as executive producer, Michael Giacchino as the music director and Jorge Garcia as Dr Diego. Also, it's nice to see Sam Neill again!

The pilot episode was good, but not as good as Lost's pilot episode. Hopefully it can only get better from now on.

I give this show a 7/10 and I will continue watching it.
