Ok, this format has been done before, so why watch it, right? Wrong. Zoey Deschanel is adorable as Jess in this show about a girl who's just been dumped by her boyfriend and who has to move in with 3 guys she doesn't know. Zoey is anything but normal in this show. She's like this super funny, totally unconventional person, but she also has a very big heart and she's always ready to help a friend in need.
If you enjoyed the movie No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, then this series might be for you. Actually both were written by Elizabeth Meriwether.
If you watch episode one, prepare to be disappointed though as Damon Wayans Jr won't be back for other episodes. He was actually trying to get parts in two shows at the same time and decided to dump New Girl for the other show. It's unfortunate because he fit right in with the rest of the cast.
This show is worth watching if you like silly, funny jokes. And c'mon, Zoey is cute right?
I give it a 7.5/10
