Gorillaz Self-Titled Review

Gorillaz Self-Titled Review
Gorillaz Self-Titled Review

Gorillaz have been around for 10 years now. If you've never heard them before now, it's a shame, because these guys have talent. The main vocalist actually is Damon Albarn (singer of the band Blur). This is  the first album that the band released in 2001. After a first listen, it might seem odd to you. To be honest, this album has a few experimental tracks ("Double Bass", "M1A1", "Man Research Clapper"), but there are also definite hit tracks like "Clint Eastwood", "Tomorrow Comes Today", "19-2000" and "Starshine".

This album might take you a few listens before really appreciating it. But I promise you that from this album on, the band have grown a lot and matured their sound.

For their originality, I give this album a 7.5/10
