It's kind of funny that both movies The Believer AND American History X have same shades of red DVD covers and that both have a story that revolves around race. At any rate, Danny Balint (Ryan Gosling) plays the role of a confused boy who's struggling between his beliefs and his heritage. He hates all Jews, but what's ironic about this is the fact that he is himself of Jewish heritage. Gosling gives a solid performance in this drama. He gives a totally believable performance. This movie is about 1h40 long.
I give it a good 7/10 for Gosling's performance alone.
