American History X Review

Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) plays the leader of a group of young white supremacists in this drama about race. His hate for other races lands him in prison after committing murder. Upon release, he realizes the errors of his ways and tries to change his view of the world. But while he was incarcerated, his brother Danny (Edward Furlong) followed the path that his brother was once on. Derek must now save his brother from becoming what he once was.

Norton performs really well in this film. He gives a stellar performance and so does Furlong. This movie is highly violent, so it's not for everyone. This movie is about 2 hours long and will keep you interested throughout.

I enjoyed this movie, but as I said, not for the fainted heart.

I give it a 7/10

If you enjoyed this movie, then you might also like The Believer.
