In Time Review

In Time Review
In Time Review

There are so many bad puns that I've could've used as the tagline for this movie. "Time is money", "Robin Hood of our time", etc. On paper, the movie seemed great. The cast includes rising star Justin Timberlake playing Will Salas, Amanda Seyfried playing Sylvia Weis, Cillian Murphy playing the Time keeper Raymond and finally Olivia Wilde playing Will's mom Rachel. So what's it about? The movie takes place in a not too distant future and in that future, money is no longer the main currency. Time is now what people work for and as soon as someone turns 25, their clock starts ticking. Will and Sylvia live in two completely different worlds. Will can barely go through a day with the time that he has, and Sylvia comes from a rich family, so she's not at all concerned with time. Soon, both of them will find out that they need to do something to change the world as the price of living keeps going up.

As I said, I liked the idea a lot, unfortunately it could have been executed a little better in my opinion. For that reason, I'm giving this movie a 6.5/10.
