The movie is based on a true story about Aron Ralston (James Franco) who gets stuck between two rocks and must find a way to get out. Throughout the movie, he must find a way to escape and stay alive at the same time. It may sound boring, but the movie was actually really well made. It was directed by Danny Boyle who also directed Slumdog Millionaire. The film was very well received by critics, averaging a 8.2/10 score. The movie also received many awards including 3 Golden Globe Awards and 9 British Academy Film Awards. When Ralston saw the movie he said that it felt so authentic that it was as close to a documentary as you can get while still being a drama.

For the cold sweat that this movie provides, I award it with a 7.5/10.

  1. When he ran his bike, at the beginning of the film, in the desert, it was quite impressive! I felt joy and freedom
