Kidneythieves - Zerospace Review

Kidneythieves - Zerospace Review

If you've never heard of them, it's a shame, because they have a very unique sound. The band's signature sound is very aggressive guitar parts, electronic samples and their vocalist's voice (Free Dominguez). Kidneythieves have been around since 1998. They released their first album Trickster and then Zerospace in 2002. In 2004, Free Dominguez decided to do a solo indie project. It wasn't until 2007 that Dominguez sent a newsletter to fans, letting them know that the band would release a new album in 2010 called Trypt0fanatic.

The album Zerospace starts right away with the very aggressive song "Before I'm dead", which is the continuity of the same titled song off their Trickster album. Its got very aggressive guitar riffs and Dominguez's voice fits in nicely.

Best songs from the album include "Before I'm Dead", "Zerospace" and "Serene Dream".

I give this album a 7/10

If you enjoy this album, you might also enjoy The Birthday Massacre.
